Adolescent sleep problems: Why is your teen so tired? Adolescents are notorious for staying up late at night and being hard to rouse in the morning. Your teens are probably no exception. But it's not necessarily because they're lazy or contrary. This behavior pattern actually has a real physical cause. And there are ways to help mesh your adolescent's sleep schedule with that of the rest of the world. An adolescent's internal clock Everyone has an internal clock that influences body temperature, sleep cycles and hormonal changes. The biological and psychological processes that follow the cycle of this 24-hour internal clock are called circadian rhythms. In most people, the various circadian rhythms work together. For example, body temperature starts to rise during the last few hours of sleep — making it easier to wake up in the morning. Most people experience a small drop in temperature between 2 and 4 p.m., which may explain why early afternoon is a popular time for a nap. We then get a second wind around 5 or 6 p.m., which makes it hard to fall asleep around that time. Before adolescence, these circadian rhythms direct most children to naturally fall asleep around 8 or 9 p.m. Puberty changes an adolescent's internal clock — delaying the time he or she starts feeling sleepy by about two hours. Staying up late to study or socialize with friends can disrupt an adolescent's internal clock even more. Too little sleep Adolescents need about nine hours of sleep a night in order to maintain optimal daytime alertness. But only 15 percent actually get that amount of sleep regularly. In a recent survey, more than a quarter of the teens who were interviewed said they usually sleep six hours, or even less, on school nights. Part-time jobs, homework, school activities and friends often are prioritized higher than is sleep. But sleep deprivation can have serious consequences. In addition to causing irritability and moodiness, daytime sleepiness makes it more difficult to concentrate and learn. Some exhausted teens sleep through classes, and their grades take a nose dive. Even worse, sleepy drivers — many of them young — can cause deadly auto accidents. Playing catch-up Trying to catch up on sleep during weekends doesn't help much. In fact, it can confuse a teenager's internal clock even more. In these situations, going to bed early won't help matters. Your son or daughter will just lie in bed awake, finally dozing off in the wee hours of the morning. Many adolescents turn to stimulants such as caffeine and nicotine in an attempt to overcome their daytime sleepiness. Leaving the other dangers of nicotine aside, dependence on its stimulant effects, as well as those of caffeine, can backfire and make it even more difficult to go to sleep at a reasonable hour. Resetting the clock Your teen's internal circadian clock can be reset in most cases, but it takes a little effort. Exposure to light seems to play the greatest role in regulating everyone's 24-hour cycles. In fact, many blind people have trouble with their circadian rhythms because they can't see the difference between day and night. Exposing your child to bright light in the mornings will help his or her body realize that it is time to wake up. A device called a light box can provide enough light to enhance early morning alertness. At the opposite extreme, being in subdued light or darkness at bedtime signals the body that it's time to sleep. Another method of readjusting a malfunctioning biological clock is called chronotherapy. In a teenager, this most often involves delaying bedtime by two or three hours every night for a progression of nights. For example, if your teen regularly goes to bed at 3 a.m., the first night he or she would stay up until 6 a.m. The next night, he or she would stay up until 9 a.m. This continues until a socially acceptable bedtime is reached. Products containing melatonin, a sleep-inducing hormone, help some people reset their circadian clocks. Taking the product about five hours before bedtime usually produces the best results. While these supplements can be purchased without a prescription, they should be taken under the supervision of a doctor. Is it something else? In some cases, excessive daytime sleepiness can be a sign of something more than a problem with your teen's internal clock. Other problems can include: Sleep apnea. When throat muscles fall slack during sleep, they stop air from moving freely through the nose and windpipe, causing labored breathing. In adults, sleep apnea most commonly occurs in obese individuals. Added factors for children are the presence of enlarged tonsils and adenoids, craniofacial abnormalities and neuromuscular disorders. Children with sleep apnea may also exhibit mood swings, inattentiveness and hyperactivity. Restless legs syndrome. This condition causes a "creepy" or "crawling" sensation in the legs immediately before bedtime. There is an urge to move the legs, which momentarily lessens the discomfort. Up to 45 percent of the adults with this disorder began experiencing it before age 20. This problem has been associated with iron deficiencies in children. Narcolepsy. Sudden daytime sleep, usually for only 15 minutes at a time, can be a sign of narcolepsy. Narcoleptic episodes occur most often after meals, but can occur at any time — even in the middle of conversations. Depression. Sleeping too much or too little is a common sign of depression. Fortunately, most teens just need a little help adjusting their schedules and managing their time to get the right amount of sleep. You might need to prioritize extracurricular activities and consider establishing an official quiet time before bedtime, when loud music, video games and Internet use are restricted or not allowed. If daytime sleepiness, fatigue or nighttime insomnia persists despite changes that should promote better sleep, contact your child's physician and ask about a sleep evaluation. Your adolescent may have a sleep disorder. Narcolepsy Last Updated: 07/07/2004 Overview Narcolepsy is a chronic sleep disorder characterized by overwhelming daytime drowsiness and sudden attacks of sleep. People with the disorder often find it difficult to stay awake for long periods of time, regardless of the circumstances. Narcolepsy comes from the Greek word narke, meaning "stupor." About 135,000 Americans have narcolepsy, but many more may be undiagnosed. Narcolepsy often is mistaken for depression, seizure disorder, fainting, simple lack of sleep, or other conditions that may cause abnormal sleep patterns. Although there's no cure for narcolepsy, medications and lifestyle changes can help you manage its signs and symptoms. Signs and symptoms The signs and symptoms of narcolepsy include: Excessive daytime sleepiness. The primary characteristic of narcolepsy is overwhelming drowsiness and an uncontrollable need to sleep during the day. People with narcolepsy fall asleep without warning, anywhere and at any time. For example, you may suddenly nod off while at work or talking with friends. You may sleep for just a few minutes or up to a half-hour before awakening and feeling refreshed, but then you fall asleep again. In addition to sleeping at inappropriate times and places, you also may experience decreased alertness throughout the day. Excessive daytime sleepiness usually is the first symptom to appear and is often the most troublesome, making it difficult for you to concentrate and function fully. Cataplexy. This is the sudden loss of muscle tone. Cataplexy can cause a range of physical changes, from slurred speech to total physical collapse, and may last for a few seconds to a few minutes. Cataplexy is uncontrollable and is often triggered by intense emotions, such as laughter, fear, surprise or anger, or sometimes by strenuous activity. For example, your head may droop uncontrollably when you laugh or your knees may suddenly buckle while you're working out. Some people with narcolepsy experience only one or two episodes of cataplexy a year, while others have numerous episodes each day. About 70 percent of people with narcolepsy experience cataplexy. Sleep paralysis. Less commonly, people with narcolepsy experience a temporary inability to move or speak while falling asleep or upon waking. These episodes are usually brief — rarely lasting for more than 10 minutes — but they can be frightening. You may be aware of the condition and have no difficulty recalling it afterward, even if you had no control over what was happening to you. Normal sleep paralysis is characteristic of the immobility that often accompanies rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, the period of sleep during which most dreaming occurs. The immobility of REM may prevent your body from acting out dream activity. Hypnagogic hallucinations. These hallucinations may take place when a person with narcolepsy falls quickly into REM sleep, as they do periodically during the day. Because you may be semiawake when you begin dreaming, you experience your dreams as reality, and they may be particularly vivid and frightening. Other signs and symptoms of narcolepsy include restless nighttime sleep and occasional automatic behavior. During episodes of automatic behavior, you continue to function during sleep episodes — even talking and putting things away, for example — but you awaken with no memory of performing such activities. As many as 40 percent of people with narcolepsy experience automatic behavior during sleep attacks. The first signs and symptoms of narcolepsy usually first appear between the ages of 10 and 25, but the condition can occur at any age. Narcolepsy is chronic, which means signs and symptoms may vary in severity, but never go away entirely. Cataplexy, however, may subside completely. Research continues to determine the cause of narcolepsy. Genetics and some sort of trigger, such as a virus, may affect brain chemicals and contribute to the disorder. The normal process of falling asleep begins with a phase called non-rapid eye movement (NREM) sleep. During this phase, your brain waves slow down considerably. After an hour or two of NREM sleep, your brain activity picks up again, and REM sleep begins. Most dreaming occurs during REM sleep. In narcolepsy, however, you suddenly fall into REM sleep without first experiencing NREM sleep and at abnormal times, such as during the day. Also, some of the aspects of sleep that normally occur only during REM sleep, such as sudden lack of muscle tone, sleep paralysis and vivid dreams, occur at other times during sleep in people with narcolepsy. Scientists believe that people with narcolepsy who begin to feel drowsy and then drop instantly into "dream sleep" may have imbalances in certain brain chemicals important in regulating sleep. Acetylcholine is a brain chemical that may be overactivated in people with narcolepsy. In addition, people with narcolepsy appear to have low levels of hypocretin, another sleep-regulating chemical. Hypocretin plays an important role in arousing you from sleep and keeping you awake. Abnormal genes may be responsible for chemical imbalances that leave your body confused about when to sleep and when to remain awake. Scientists have discovered a gene mutation that produces hypocretin in people with narcolepsy. Research continues to focus on whether the body's immune system, perhaps triggered by a viral infection, may be involved in mistakenly attacking hypocretin-producing cells in the brain. Risk factors Narcolepsy affects males and females equally and occurs in all racial and ethnical groups. The condition may run in families. A small percentage of people with narcolepsy have a close relative with the disease. When to seek medical advice See your doctor if you experience excessive daytime sleepiness that seriously disrupts your personal or professional life. Screening and diagnosis Your doctor may make a preliminary diagnosis of narcolepsy based on your experience of both excessive daytime sleepiness and sudden loss of muscle tone (cataplexy). After an initial diagnosis, your doctor may refer you to a sleep specialist for additional studies and evaluation. Formal diagnosis may require staying overnight at a sleep center where you undergo an in-depth analysis of your sleep by a team of specialists. Methods of diagnosing narcolepsy and determining its severity include: Sleep questionnaire. The Epworth Sleepiness Scale uses a series of short questions to diagnose narcolepsy. You'll be asked to rank on a numbered scale whether certain situations, such as sitting down after lunch, make you sleepy and, if so, how sleepy. Polysomnogram. This test involves a variety of measuring tactics conducted through electrodes placed on your scalp before you fall asleep. For this test, you must stay overnight for observation at a medical facility. The test measures the electrical activity of your brain (electroencephalogram) and heart (electrocardiogram), and the movement of your muscles (electromyogram) and eyes (electro-oculogram). Multiple sleep latency test. This method measures how long it takes for you to fall asleep during the day. You'll be asked to fall asleep for a series of four or five naps, each nap two hours apart. Specialists will observe your sleep patterns. People who have narcolepsy fall asleep easily and enter into rapid eye movement (REM) sleep quickly. These tests also can help doctors rule out other possible causes of your signs and symptoms. Other sleep disorders, such as sleep apnea, can cause excessive daytime sleepiness. Narcolepsy may cause you to experience serious problems in both your professional and personal lives. Others may perceive your undiagnosed condition as lazy, lethargic or rude. Your performance may suffer at school or work. Narcolepsy often affects intimate relationships. Extreme sleepiness may cause low sex drive or impotence, and people with narcolepsy may even fall asleep while making love. The problems caused by sexual dysfunction may be further complicated by emotional difficulties. Intense feelings, such as anger or joy, can trigger some signs of narcolepsy, causing affected people to withdraw from emotional interactions. Sleep attacks may result in physical harm to people with narcolepsy. You're at increased risk of a car accident if you have an attack while driving. Your risk of cuts and burns is higher if you fall asleep while preparing food. Treatment Narcolepsy has no cure, but medications and lifestyle modifications can help you manage the symptoms. Medications include: Stimulants. Drugs that stimulate the central nervous system are the primary treatment to help people with narcolepsy stay awake during the day. These include methylphenidate (Ritalin) and various amphetamines. Although these medications are effective, they may cause side effects, such as nervousness and heart palpitations, and can be addictive. Modafinil. The drug modafinil (Provigil) may help people with narcolepsy stay awake. Modafinil isn't as addictive and doesn't produce the highs and lows often associated with stimulants. Antidepressants. Doctors often prescribe antidepressant medications, which suppress REM sleep, to help alleviate the symptoms of cataplexy, hypnagogic hallucinations and sleep paralysis. These medications include the tricyclic antidepressants protriptyline (Vivactil) and imipramine (Tofranil). Sodium oxybate (Xyrem). This medication controls cataplexy, sleep paralysis and hallucinations in people with narcolepsy. Sodium oxybate helps to improve nighttime sleep, a lack of which may contribute to excessive daytime sleepiness. If you have other health problems, such as high blood pressure or diabetes, ask your doctor how medications for existing conditions may interact with those taken for narcolepsy. Certain over-the-counter drugs, such as allergy and cold medications, can cause drowsiness as a side effect. If you have narcolepsy, your doctor will likely recommend that you avoid taking these medications. Medications to treat narcolepsy can help reduce your signs and symptoms, but they can't alleviate them entirely. Lifestyle changes also are an integral part of treating narcolepsy. Lifestyle modifications are important in managing the symptoms of narcolepsy. You may benefit from these steps: Have a schedule. Go to sleep and wake up at the same time every day, including weekends. Take naps. Schedule several naps of 10 to 15 minutes a day. Avoid caffeine, nicotine and alcohol. Using these substances can worsen your signs and symptoms. Get regular exercise. Moderate, regular exercise may help you feel more awake during the day and sleep better at night. Nice article. Ok alive and kicking. Hahas. Just recovered. Not just, actually like how many days le. Well, woke up around 3 hours ago. SO SHOCKING. ENGLAND and BRAZIL are out. So the curse is there. Hahas, okays slept at 5.30am last night. Mom's alarm clock rang then I went to sleep. There must be a balance and not always say go back to the past. For me, if i did not let go of the past, I dun think my current class who see the crazy fun side of me. Or should say the happier me. I think i would still be locked in my past, still keep thinking where i went wrong. Past 2 days have been at the OCIP camp. Guess today's interaction with kids from the student care centre was the most fun=) Hahas. So cute lor. First one we saw was one cute guy, so chubby. Kenzi. All have went to sleep. Except me. Staring into the com screen burning discs. HAiz, did not fulfil the task again. DID NOT even mad euse of the chance bestowed upon me. Dunno how. Let just see what the result is going to be like. Hmm, past 12am. Past 7 days, did no work. room in a freaking mess. What the shit. When i said everything fell into place. DID it? i not sure. Just need that energy , strength to push me. Watched I Not Stupid 2 for the second time. On disc lah now. Hmm, stil so touching and the hokkien parts just rocks lor. Hahas, just tickled me. oh man. That is always both good and bad to things. Always, as a buddhist, most of the times we are taught to see things in both perspectives. Maybe that explains why i take some things neutrally. Watching the making of the movie, under the special features of the DVD, it struck me how fast time have passed. From the small kids they were, until the young chaps they are now. Looking back from VS until now, small young boy in sec1 until now a young teenager in jc. The incident in sec4 end really made me emerged with a matured mind. 5 months have passed in a JC, new friends i have made, new perpectives have been injected to me. Must admit have been spending a whole great deal of time with them. When i lok back, the transition of VS to MJ had been quite easy, to me la. Maybe my crazy funky character opened up the barriers? But think i stil am a diff person in MJCO. think am too serious or dao... These past 2 weeks, many juniors have been askin me about DSA. Hahas, did i complained about this system before? My stand will stand and shall stand. Abolish it. Well, some of them are very puzzled about which jc they should dsa into. Obviouslt, most are opting for VJ or TJ. But again, when u DSA to those schools, think who are you competing against for a psoition in the JC. Those KIASU people from top schools. Those who can get single digit for o levels but stil trying to book a place first. Okies, then later some ask me about MJ. Well, come if you want. Many commented MJ as their spare tyre. I mean, well, PROVIDED u get selected by VJ or TJ...if not MJ already ur front tyre. My basic advice to them is: Work hard during this june holidays. Clear all your doubts as soon as possible. Work towards your dream of entering the jc. Do not go think whether the school will accept u, what appeals la, pay money enter..those crap...think of whether the school will desperately wants u now.(meaning..get 6 points.. all jcs would want to grab you...) Just woke up from a 12 hour sleep. Yesterday was one of the more emotional day in MJC. Let see from the beginning of the day. oh crap! i never hand in my ap homework...abit side track.. Erm, yeah morning went to copy work. Cos lost my homework. Dunno where the crap it went to. So yeah. Hahs then during assembly they gave out max meridian awards. Our class could have got more records. But in the end, Only Vasin broke record, ran 2.4km in the record of 8.14 or 8.13. Strong la. Hahs, then wei de challenged for the situps, he mssed by a few , hidayat missed the sit and reach by 3 cm. Aiyo. Then Lesi was the only one iin our clas to get 30 points. Iron Woman! ahahs. Well, next it came to a surprise that out class were the fittest j1 class. Our hamper were all junk food, so ironic when pe department is encouraging healthy lifestyle. HAhas, NICE TIDBITS we had! Then proceeded with normal lessons. mrs suresh made us worried. She said she hope she might teach us the next term. eek. hope there will be no change. She is now our best teacher lor. Then had econs tutorial. GP did some gpp. tom got meeting early in the morning.ahahs. yup, compass was some dialoue session. Still none of this dialogues makes me think that the prefectorial board of vs or the student council of mj is still going to be useful. We will see when the time comes. Hahas, then we were off to Jalan besar stadium=)! Sad that our class had to be separated. if not it going to be some shiok bus ride sia. Crap all the way. Luckily managed to find our the other half of the class and sat together=) Yup, the rain was quite heavy and we were all so worried that the match was going to be postponed. Well luckily, rain stopped, and the 2nd half of the match proceeded. B division finals. Hong Kah Sec vs Siglap Sec. Shockingly, Siglap lost in the end. 1-0. Siglap keeper was power. Ok. then here comes the match of the season. MJ vs VJ. Right from the start, Mj attacked. Controlled first half. Zul scored the first goal . Some long ball from the defence i think. Then he just shoot in. Vj's frst goal reminded me of the goal which SA scored. Some stupid lob over the keeper. Misjudeged. Freakng tyco. Then not sure when did the second gaol was scored, wonder is it first half or second half. Hmm, i would certainly say it was the best goal of the match, Muhadeer, solo-ed past 4 VJ players, then went on to strike in the goal. Can see that everybody were so captivated by his skills, Maybe even the j players, they just all went for him and not the ball. LoL. Yeah, with it, whole crowd went crazy! The the tide starts to turn against us, When vj took a corner, think header was so fast, ball was going towards j khoo's face, he cant react that fast and could only use his hand to deflect the ball. Well, ref has to go by the rules, and then show him the red card, It was freaking suay lah. But why cant soccer rules be flexible at time. Vj was awarded a penalty, I somehow have a super confidence that thee penalty would not enter. Cos, as a liverpool fan, the team that have gone through so penalties, and always emerged victorious, i would also hope the MJ keeper to save that goal. True enough, it was saved. Wow, this time we went crazy again. It is like denting one big hole into the Vj peeps. However, fatigue set in, and then Vj managed to come back and equalise. Then, they scored the 3rd goal. cant rem how they did it. Whereas the fourth goal, i wonder should we say is the guy who likes jesus who gave vj the chance. He miskicked and the ball landed at the feet of the vj guy. then that is liao, one on one with keeper, smacked in the fourth goal. And also our hopes of some last minute miracle goal also vanished.We also missed one chance in the dying moments....if it had entered..if it had...haiz... Haiz, 3 goals in the last 7 mins? or even shorter. Is like what liverpool did in last year champs league final. liver scored 3 goals in 6 mins. Now this time is VJ which did the feat. WHY WHY WHY... when the ref blew the whistle for game over, is like, felt so sad and emotional for the Mj players, u see them one by one all dropped to their knees, lookin in disbelief. HAiz, my heart goes out to them. Last yr, we may not truly deserve to win, btu this year , we really showed that MJ rightfully should have won the championship. Haiz. Was like no mood to did the last few cheers, but got over with it and then went on to go crazy cheering with xav. Well, yest was very enthu, the usual me, hahs, influence class with my echo cheers, then our echo cheers is like louder than the rest lor. Hmm, just went pizza hut. tryng to stuff my dinner now. I am like on some desperate-weight-gaining emergency exercise. Butit is something i seriously need to do. Past3 days, having 4 meals, have gone to Ichiban, KFC, Pizza Hut. Hmm, fiancial reserves declining at rapid rate too. After slacked around and then went home. Long time no post, m back. Well anyway today quite a day. Lets See. Woke up late, fell asleep on my desk. YES DESK. Was doing econs the night before, then yup. Hahas, woke up and i see the curves staring back at me. Shit. Yeah so chionged out of the house soon after. Guess who i saw in the train in the morning? NURNAIM BIN OSMAN. HAhas, it was like, boarded the train, heard nurnaim calling me, woot. so surprised. Crazy ass lah, used vulgarities in the train. And is like i did not even agitate him. Kept pestering me to go to the VJC Band Concert. Reall must say sorry to the 4H brothers, cos I am really broke. Went to 3 concerts spending half of ur 2 weeks allowance and seeing ur fiancial reserves depleting is not a very good sight. Ok, parted with him at TP. Hmm, went to school, tried to chiong my econs also not much use. Did not manage to complete before assembly. Must say that the 4 th student council while doing the flag raising is much better than the previous batch. ahahs, ok, then came the part when they annoucing the soccer results. "I am blah blah blah, He is blah blah blah ( soccer captain and someone else), yesterday, VJC beat SAJC 2-0.( SILENCE for 2 seconds)..........BUT that is not the point. ( HAahs, all broke into laughter.) MJC won the game against JJC with a score of 1-0. Wohoo, cheers broke out. We hope to see everyone down next thursday at Jalan Besar Stadium. Blah Blah Blah... " Whole school stunned, cos nobody expected them to talk about news of the other match. But anyway the better part was when Choy told the school that we will all be ferried to the stadium. Wuahah. They added more diversity into the class, and that day had a chat with joy , weisiong and joy. HAhs, I didnt realise i was that quiet during the starting of the year. Whenever they said jokes, i would only just smiled back, Now i think about it, it was a correct description of me. Haahs,but towards the end, i became to talk more and be more crazy. Which i think also so true. Well, it also justified me bah, as in i am a person who dun talk much to strangers, and only really open up when i know more about them. Back from TJCO concert . Hahas, not bad la the concert. Ma Dao should have played faster. But the last song is woot lor. Not bad. As in the composed or arranged by themselves.. i not sure. NOt bad lah, is like, because of GP( General Paper), people start to take more notice of current affairs and of course the elections for this time. Well , 5 years later will be our chance..hahas. Anyway, yeah, like towards the end of term 2, there is an onslaught of tests and responsibity coming up. Is like when u are infromed about it, then it will start to slowly sink into your mind, BUt when it is approaching u start to make dash. Let see, Econs test, chem test, naffa test , cca elections, chem spa, phy test., Gp mid year. Woot. Somehow or rather, i would rather sit through o levels. Hahas. Crap. KKz, too busy to even update though minds have so many things going through, like washing machine, like, it will spin, then slow down, water flows out, then spin again, after awhile slow down, water comes out. went soccer with bros this morning, ahhas discovered another soccercourt, which had higher walls, dunno isit better not. But anyway all of us had fun, quite a long time since we last met up. Yeah, Justin gave us an initial scare sia, hope he is ok. Yeah, ooh and thanks weijie man. He went to Hawaii for the vj band, but no forget bout us, bought us some sourvernirs? got some whistle, which i think looks unique. ahahs. thanks man! Was on the bus to grnadma house, saw WP people on the pick up making so much noise.. Vote for us ! USE ur VOTE WISELY!.... ok... yup soon after came back and sleep. LOL. England is damn suay lah. The team is jinxed by metartasal. They have hell lots of players breaking that bone in the past and also at the most crucial times. Oh well. oh well, in the end did not go for the rally, the sky threatened with it being overcast. Well, had a very unusual dream last night. Hmm, jolted me awake at 6am. When i woke up, i still thought today needed to go school sia, wanted to go pack my bag...lol. After awhile, realising it was a Sunday, i went back to sleep. HAhas. watching tv the whole morning. online offline online offline quite a few times... aiyo.. Well, saw what happened at Bowen's blog. It reminded me of my post last year about the syf. I mean, of course we will be happy with our own achievements, but sometimes, the other party will treat it as an insult to them. I just dont get it. Even when i lose , I will just keep my mouth shut, analyse my own mistakes. I am really disgusted by the behaviour of that particular school. To me, those people of that school, may have led a sheltered life since birth, fed with a silver spoon in their mouth. So everytime if something do not go their way, they will grumble and grumble, everybody is at fault except them. Sometimes, it really makes u think, is the elite of the Singapore education really elites? Statisitics show that these pupils are really academic elites, but there is no figures to show how morally upright these people are... What a loop hole in the education. Furthermore, when statistics are against them, they will have a long list of excuses waiting to be slected and used. And the soccer match incident, it was a fact. Hida told me what actually happened, and i was appalled by it. They showed no respect to the decision of the opposing team, which is mj, and imposed their decisions on the refree. Haiz, will this gap be ever filled up? unlikely. intelligence is inversely proprotional to morals. Well this apply to those balck sheeps. Hmm, political side. That WP Gomez had finally admitted. If i look from the other point of view, it is quite slanderous, so i better not make it here. But Wp should have stpped forward earlier to clear the air. PAP is so smart to blow up that matter. Also, i realised that PAP is like "we can say other people, other people cannot say us, if not they die." Observe ad see... Well, PAP also always say,"Vote for us base on our past 5 year track record in this constituency..." . They will then mock at opposition , saying that if they were good, how come they will only have Low Thia Kiang and Chiam See Tong in the Parliament. Feel like asking them, if u don't even let the opposition parties een have a chance to enter the parliament and try out, how the voters going to grade them? This is a question that should to the voters too. Vote for the opposition, let them try it out, if they cant perform, 5 years later ,vote back PAP. That is basicaly what i think. wee..Liverpool won 2-1. Hahas,fun. Well history have stated that, every fifth time, lieverpool and chelsea meet, liverpoll will emerge victorious. Hope Mj wins, wil be battle of the top of the table. Rj till now have only met low standard teams, the remaining matches they going to face off will be much tougher...so hehe... Anyway, alot of people also puzzled why Rj socer emerge so strong suddenly. LOL. Main theoretical thinking is that, RI does not have a soccer team, and so why Rj's soccer standard is so high? Well, Stil cant figure out, unless is all the DSAs peeps again. Hahs, as i predicted, some sort of defamation wil happen during elections time, And was right. Sianz, every election also see chee soo juan giving defamotry remarks... Just dont understand why got such siao siao people. okok i will update...hmm anyway this is just my prediction. Since 27th is the Nomination Day, and it is held at some schools, i presume that day will not have any school. Just a guess. Anyway watch the mj vs tj... won la. Hahas 4-2. We expected a larger scoreline, but due to the bad weather, and the freaking water logged pitch, no choice just have 4 goals. hahas, saw ronald or rolan? i dunno who is who, but one half of the twin, marshalling tj defence. Then the no 10 whom alot of people dislikes i think... was my primary sch friend. Changed alot, look much bigger size then the past. Hahas, and think he and no 16 are the best players of the tj team. anyway, mj were ironically saved by the crappy conditions of the pitch. The best was when tj shot, the ball rolled and stopped exectly in front of the goal, due to the mud.... wohoo. Then the mj keeper still take his time to collect the ball. LOL. kz so basicall that is it. We are not the top of the table yet. Cos if not wrong rj is the one, we are second. We have to be first to avoid vj, as u know, it would be the best of we meet them in the finals. So yeah. Oh man, a long weekend is going to end in another few more hours. Haiz, sianz, tons of work still not done, and not mentioning, there will be an avalanche of tests coming ahead. Oh well. Oh well, so many elections coming up, Coucil elections, House elader elections, CCA leader elections, GENERAL ELECTIONS( to those who don't know, it does not belong to Meridian, IT is SIngapore's). Was watching the debate the youngsters had with MM LEE. It was really insightful. Some daring questions were raised. But i felt that some of the youngsters, they reslly have no basic etiquette. There was one female journalist who was like interrupting everybody who tried to ask questions. Well, one thing i have to ponder is, the main question that I am concerned about is, what happens if Singapore is governed by one PAP. one party? I don't really think that is a very good outcome one would hope for. Cause, the same thing might reenact, if those who have watched V for Vendetta, who knows what PAP may transformed to be? NObody in place to check with them, Singaporeans jjust gets brainswashed by them, no opposition to question the policies laid out by the government. Will it also signify and end to democracy to Singapore? Well, some may argue that, PAP is such a up righteous party, even if they take control let them be lor. That is why the complacency now will one day lead to the suffering of the people, but problem is no one seems to care. What an illusion the government have successfully made... On the ther hand, if we say we don't want to see a one party, then we then will vote for the oppsoition? However for now, it seems that the opposition does not have any suitable candidates to challenge the PAP. U see who the PAP fields, every candidate at least holds a degree from a university, think 80% have a Masters. We take a look at the Opposition party, kz, they do manage to get some degree holders, then the rest is some normal Singaporeans, whereby they hold the middle income jobs. True to say, people holding the middle income jobs will low more about our problems, thereore we should vote for them, bbt think again, are they able to debate against those masters holders, lawayers , doctors, bosses of large corporate firms in the parliament? To a large extent , I don' think so. Thus, people would then opt for the smart fellas, which is the the PAP. Oh well, hope that i get to see the rallies, cos it is going to be so exctiing. U know debates here and there, clashes here and there. And then for the record, for the past 4-5 elections, at least one sad guy from the opposition will get sued. I wonder if any will be in the wrong end of the law this time. Anyway, when i analyse this, I start to think, how come our elections in schools cant work out this way. Whereby a true leader steps out, calls his friends or buddie whom have the same leadership capabilities, form a group, and run for the elections, any elections, council , cca or house. Then same thing happens, form a manifesto, have debates, convince us. It would be really interesting to see if that works out, cos it would be something so close to the General Elections one could have.But of cos will have some limitations. ok anyway off for lunch and chiong to the late night. Ok. finally free, the day before Good Friday... Wish all Christians out there ..happy good friday! Anyway, so happen that today was the release of PW results, Principal made special announcement to inform the J2s. hahas, 97% got band 1 or 2. Which is an improvement according to them. Congrats to Wei De and Hidayat. Both got Band 1. Must consult from them more next time. Hmm, yeah also the release of the groupings. Due to the small size of guys in my class, every group only have 1 guy, with Xavier and Weisiong exception lor, ahahs. My god, AHS form the first team sia. Got grouped with Xinying, Lesi, Elaine and Xinyi. hahas...hope got no problems and can b done properly. Well enough said. Let see, Oh PI drove me nuts, sept at only 2am last night. Had to chiong to the station this morning...lol. Hahas. Actually, I seriously doubt the ability of some of the council nominees. Got 2 groups of them. The first group are the type who are very serious and then do not bull shit but come straight to the point. Others try lame shit, like sing nursery songs, love songs, unplugged, some throw basketballs, some act like santa claus( give sweets), some act like David Copperfield. Oh my... I will most likely vote for the first group of people, cos i think serious thinkers should realy be given a chance. But of course, I am also pissed with some who tried to downplayed others and portray himself /herself as the best, it just practically disgusts me, whatmore is that they made themsleves sounds like they really have those worhty qualities, oh man. a BIG NO NO.. Then for the second group, the jjokers group i should say. Yes I think i can remb their numbers, made us know it through their crazy antics. But entering into the world of leadership is not just showing ur fanciful tricks or mesmerising vocal cords. CONVINCE is the thing u need to instill in the voters, and not garner for publicity. Ok just my thinking, Jun Yu, hope to hear a good speech from you=) Oh yar, So work is still increasing like the exponential graph. Dissapointed with some of my subject tutors. Some are really very demoralising. Haiz, think this is just a test of our self discipline and preserverance bah. A line of tests coming up next week. Physics, Chemistry, Maths. Econs test just over and it was dead. YUP. CO increased to 2 practs per week. Glad that Ms Choy allowed us to use the room. Hahas, so shiok, when i knew my proposal was approved. Better now in a closed room. Now must think of solving the prob of the percussion and tan bo. Well, conducted them, still nervous,still as stiff as ever. HAahs, and SHE did not make it any better, did not teach but criticise...oh well. Cant you let me treat it as a learning process..... and not a lecture. Oh well, must be thick skin lor. Playing Canon, a much more cheem score...But should be manageable. Kz long mugging weekend ahead. So frigging busy seh. Thats all byes. Oh congrats to the VS X Country team, they just burnt turf city with the VS spirit again=) Clinching 1st for both C and B Div. And i realise, VS is not really on close terms with the media. Cos not only this year, in my past 4 years in VS, our sporting achievements were always not reported. Felt kind of sad that we are not recognised, HAiz. What a week this have been! Let see what comes to my mind . oh mao lin just told me vjc choir and band all overseas. one in Italy, the other one dunno go where.Only left vjco in singapore. hahas, is like, hello? no choice, co go where? china and hong kong isit? Chinese music still have not been exposed much to the world yet. Talking about overseas trips, Mj also organising a few, thought i could go for the Australia Econs trip, dad rejected me straight in the face caused i bought a laptop le. Ok,can understand. Hahas, 5-6 peeps on my class going, wish them fun there=) then history peeps are going to Korea, Gp department organising trip to Eastern Europe. Many thought can go there watch world cup, u know, also part of GP, sporting events, drugs abuse...all that .. but no la, The trip will just end in time for them to watch World Cup on singapore's cable tv=). Hmm, then got soccer match. Mj won their 2nd match against AJ. 3-2. Some offside goal ruled out, and one penalty missed. So dramatic. This should have been their 3rd game, but the one agaist ACJ i think was postponed due heavy rain. SO happen that, while i was watching the match, 5 HCI guys were standing behind me, many people were like asking around , what they come watch this match? Well, it quickly came to my mind, when i realise that the next match for MJ is against HCI. Ta-da. So just eavesdropped on what they were doing, Simply spying on MJ. Well, cant really do much. Cos spying has already been so common in the real soccer world. But sometimes feel that is still unfair. Dun think Mj use such tactics. Well anyway, looking forward to next match. PW, hahas, got it back. I s freaking sian. Stil remb sec2 IPW, i was like just chiong my whole team to do then finished the fastest. Was like explaining the whole story to Xavier and Yung. Watching it the second time made me understand the movie better, so many interesting quotes. Goodie good. hahs after that went to makan. Just the simple reason that i did not turned up for the house meeting last week. Crap, to think i put in so much sweat for the triton. In the end get back such things. Well, this world can be so ironic at times. Project wrok. See veryone put so much effort into their preliminary ideas, me myself feel very guilty.Hahhas, bbut somehow guess that al of us will have to do another draft, due to the fact that my seniors have told us their repeated sad encounters while doing pw. hahhas oh well. Burnt out Hmm, just starting to go work. Tom not many lessons , so prepare to blog now. Sat soccer cant make it guys, real sorry. Principal treating gols to a meal. Still wondering which restaurant can accomodate all of us . Hmm, lots of things to catch up this weekend. Hmm, think major thing happen today in schoool is the soccer match between mj and saj. haiz, dunno waht to say, but is like all were hoping for a miracle comeback. But still cant, saj defence too solid, while mj defence super shaky, so much miscommunication. Well, hope they do well for subsequent matches, think e group got tj, aj , acj and saj and one more sch isit? not sure ... first goal was so shocked, think is first major match for the keeper, so cant really blame him. some more j1 nia, so sad najid left for vj, maybe he would have at least held off the atacks. and the worst thing is the refrees sucks la, saw khyrul's blog, he also said bout the tpj-hci match. Then mj-saj de worst la, that indian ref is like, offside he also never see, throw in also anyhow give, almost wanted to follow the italian and spanish leagues, discriminate the ref...ahahs...then the tackles were like so damn fierce lor, and the playacting of saj must improve leh. haiz, some must go drama club and learn. Dun watse time with the stupid tactics la. eeeek...the refs ah...duno where they get de...dun think they can ref s league t=lor, maybe primary sch comp also got difficulty. oh wwelll. still go to accept the fact. Anyway, today was the fourth straight day is was in for the sports events thingy. Due to the super unbalance ratio of guys to girls, i played in every singel event. hahas, oh well, played against a class that conprises all guys and 1 gal. Wonder what the house comm is doing, when the rule clearly states tat 4 or 5 guys and 4-5gals in each team... crap. But nvm. Tom still got tug of war, and against seb class. Hahas, at least vasin is back tom=) high chance man! Hmm, then super busy, mj is chionging fast, but not as fast as hci, which i think already completing half the syllabus...my...pw is driving us nuts. Cos every topic we ask ct, she will ask us the same questions back, and then we will decide to change to another topic, and the same thing keeps happening again. On bus just now, and was so surprise to see Miguel ! hahas, man, so sad that MOE stopped his move out of tpj. Grr. So sad sia. Good that he is now in the tennis team, heard that got 2 mj guys transferred over to there, then got so many competing for tpj team. tennis a div starting next week to, he maybe comng over to mj to see the match..ahahs and also see someone in action to..woot. talked so much to him, haiz, how i wish we were back in first 3 months. Hope to see him soon again sia.. he also mentioned that cheryl got into the girls' team..=) Congrats to her! Well, think do some maths tutorial. hahas, graphing techniques freaking sianz. JC life is super stress up, esp in MJ. Expected it when i decide to come mj. But now is total siao liao. abit too hiong le. Hope they do, if not they have to play those easy but tiring qualifiers for Champions League. Anyway, Saw the headlines today, then saw Some teens living in another world. Read the papers and you know. Quite a few from top institutions somemore. Oh well, look at how education in Singapore is heading towards. Then got another issue is about teachers' blogging. Was watching the Commonwealth games. Well, Li Jia Wei seems to losing her form, has lost twice in a row to Zhang Xue Ling. LOL, this time and the previous was at the SEA games. World No 5 declining? And then tuned to the athletics. They were all having the relays, so much drama, got so many teams dropping the baton. One even dropped into the field. And got another is due to 0.01 s difference separated the teams between a silver medal and bronze medal. All these struck me, like, the 0.01 second is like the result of a choice u make in life, is either the choice will lead to your success or failure. Then there is also the mistake, like in the relay, dropping the baton, the team which was going to be first became last. Thus, make u realize that mistakes u make will change ur fate drastically. Choices choices choices... Singapore's education is all about making the right choice. Wrong choice..that is it. P6, choosing of Secondary schools, elite or the non-elite. Sec2, subject combi, triple sci or double humans? Sec 4 , choosing of JCs or Polys.. Which JC? Top 5 or academics value added JCs? Polys..which poly out of the 3? Which courses... Come to think of it, i will still say most of the choices are still made base by the parents. For example, i have a cousin, i think she has the ability to go to the JC. But she prefers more of a poly environment. My view was that she made her choice mostly due to peers. Peer influence. But her mum on the other hand, wants her to go JC. Well, her mum is one who trains her children to be independent. Her final wish for my cousin is for her to enter Uni. Oh well. Still left so many tutorials to be done. maths and Econs. MJ is really lagging behind. This week still have not complete the first few topics. Let see how it goes, but slow pace also good, at least we can recap what we learnt for the 1st 2 months.My brain seriousy underwent the re-formatted mode after orientation.....

Monday is the Caesar's challenge things, then somemore Vasin just went back to Thailand, If i don't go for the race, class must send another girl. Oh well, pray hard my body gets well. Well, got my permanent time table. Can say is still quite manageable. Friday is the best. Go home at 1205. Well Saw some of my tutors already. Just have to say I must work very independently le. None of the teachers look friendly to me. Especially my CT. During COMPASS, said that she wants to know us better. HOW? She told us to introduce another friend by saying the person good and bad point. Then every sentence we make she would add in some sarcastic remarks. Oh well. 1 down. Math's teacher speaks with a very draggy voice. Say what taught in TPJC, have 3 children..blah blah blah..appear quite blur too. Yea, so the rest I just see this coming week. Already expecting another under par teacher. How I wish I got back all my 1st 3 months teachers, so friendly, dun appear dao. And can also really teach some more. Cant really do much now, work hard on my own I should say. Did I mentioned MJ sch ration is very unbalanced? 3 guys to 7 girls. And my this CG almost all are in Sports cca. Well all super fit. LOL. Have not had PE for 2 weeks already. Fitness level dropped faster than acceleration of free fall. SBJ in tatters. NAFA coming in MAY. Oh well. Guess council elections are coming nearer. Who should I cast the votes for, got more than frens running for it. Very curious to see the campaigning period...See they got what up in their sleeves..hahas. kz la off to work. How i wish i gt back all my 1st 3 months teachers, so friendly, dun appear dao. and can also really teach some more. Cant really do much now, work hard on my own i should say. Did i mentioned MJ sch ration is very unbalanced? 3 guys to 7 girls. And my this CG almost all are in Sports cca. Well all super fit. LOL. Have not had PE for 2 weeks already. Fitness level dropped faster than acceleration of free fall. SBJ in tatters. NAFA coming in MAY. Oh well. Guess council elections are coming nearer. Who should i cast the votes for, got more than frens running for it. very curious to see the campaigning period...See they got what up in their sleeves..hahas. kz la off to work. With so much work, old friends all lose contact. Feel kind sad. Read other friend's blog, some feel sad like coming after first 3 months, see so many of their old friends having new cliques, they themsleves feelvery left out. Why everytime got co orientation i am sick? Sianz, the other time was super sianz from PE lesson, this time sore throat, want to speak also cat speak properly. EEk. Hope got another round. Anyway, The malay teacher in charge, don't know what is her name, is quite smart with the games. Through the games, make us know what is teamwork , coordination, acting. Samrt one, to think i was so bitut we must see how the timetable goes. Wee also must find enough violins and violas. Oo not to mention, got 30+ members. Not bad. Now must try to suck in more. Anyway, still sick. And this j1 batch is super fierce. All of us have practically completed the chem lecture notes and tutorials. Siao batch, every free period can see most classes sitting dwon and mugging. Sick.. Just woke up from nap, but should be sleeping soon again. Haiz, mood today bad, cos of my uncomfortable-ness with my throat, very irritating. Souded buay song the whole day. Had 2 1/2 hours of slack time today. Basically just wasted it. LOL. Hmm, then chionged 5 lectures in one shot. Came back see doctor. Say is flu but no fever. Great...Now much better after eating med. Council forms are out, hahas, some friends are contemplating whther to be in. I wish them all the best and u all have my support=) This year got 40 slots. So should be easier to get in? Yeah. GO GO GO... CO got meeting tom, was shocked to hear it in the morning, They never had an announcement to do with CO before. Me: jolts from the bed...realise i was bit late...lol Yea, day started with both dad and mum trying to wake me up...lol. After that went out and then went school with Yisen and shuzzie. Whole train was like super blue...hahas, hard to differentiate who from which school liao. Checked my class. 06S413. YAY!..hahas then went for the assembly. Class had 7 new faces. 5 girls totally new, while Bowen was transferred from another class. Hahas, AHS totally own sia.. 5 or 6 of them, 3 VS, 2 XSS, 2 TKGS , 2 CCHMS , 1 ACS(I), 1 ASS , 1 TKSS , 1 NASS , 1 BSS . Woot. Hahas basically like that. We miss Mr Audi, too bad he took another class . Haiz. Sad, the current CT, i got no comments. LOL...teach econs de.. Well, temporary timetable also shocked us. Monday to Thurs is like end at 5.05pm everyday, with 4 free periods each day. Saw project work, and according to the veterans, the topics seem hard to do...LOL. Eek man. No choice still got to face the fact. Hope to do well for it..In fact, is a must la. target Band 1. Abit like IPW, but this time is much more cheem. Heard few people commented that some classes are so called "stupid". Well, these comments are made by my fellow school mates, ex sec peoples. Well, the mindset of these people is so restricted..*shakes head*. Until now, people still think that double science is super prestigious. Well, to that i have no comment, only to say that they are the "very pure " students. Then they made hurting comments bout people who take A core ARTS subject, which is economics or geog. They think that it is not as prestigious as their combi and start looking down. Think i will keep my silence on this and prove them wrong at the end of the year. Actually i also faced the same situation when i was in VS. I chose to take the double humans combi and it proved to be a wise choice for me. Both my Humanities got A1s. Saved my l1r5 alot. Furthermore, my class, a double humans class even performed those people who "used dogs eyes to look people down"( direct translation) . And those people, they until now even in MJ still act like big shots. Oh well, just have to tell them, wake up fools. U were not great in the past, and not the present. The future? Maybe, if u wake up not. Kz, i sounded pissed. But too bad, think that is still the major thinking of many of the VS peeps. Guess 1 thing most school hate about us is still some of the tinge of arrongance?? Hmm, class looks super separated today, hope it does not happen tommorrow. Hope to stick more closely. Wel still miss some of the ex classmates though, Hanafi, Cheryl, Miguel, Nadirah.. Haiz.. then got the rest is change combi Faisal, Haiyati, Yi Chen, thn go those who went to another class, Joy , Ai Ning, Leon.... Well so sad. But Move on. Yeah, couple more minutes and there goes the holidays.Hahas, and tom, serious works starts. Haiz, time past so fast, can still remember the time when we were in the hall taking our our o levels. Anyway let see where i last wrote to. Okies, think it was on wednesday. What did i do? Think practically nothing. Then thursday went out with fellow bros, wenyuan and yisen. hahas, luckily yisen heeded my advice, if not i not sure where he will be now. So anywhere, was late.oops. makan at tampines then decided to head down to suntec.kz, going suntec with wenyuan, ahahs confirm is go arcade. Played the bball. Hit the score 172. but bot cant find rythm day. Sianz. Wohoo, but we had another strategy liao. Hahas, think that is more effective.Yea, actually wanted to watch something comical or with abit of xxx stuff, but yi sen said watch V for vendetta. Turned out to be a political show. Quite nice, and that English leader looks like Hitler with his moustache . Lol. We bit stu after the movie, but slowly manage to guess what it is. Hahas. Friday just went out with mum, went to temple to pray, long time i have been there. After that went to Queensway Shopping Centre with mum. That place is like so inaccessible sia. Went there look for running shoes. Entered one which is owned by an indian. Told me he will give me a student's price, but sill decided to go to other shops to compare. Luckily i did, if not i get con sia. 124.95 shoe managed to bought it at 90. that indian shop guy only want to sell me at 114. Thanks la, some student price. bought some adidas de. Very light. Yeah. Misssed the vega outing. hahas, heard most of them got sunburnt. Ooh lala, Wonder how they will look like tom back at school. Saturday Went to collect my ibook. yea, noticed that Mac bosses hire pretty gals . but also super blur de. hahas, almost gave me another free software sia. Meet-Up Went back VS to collect yearbook. Hmm, feel wierd but at the same time nice to step into the school. First thing as i usually did in the past. Smiled to the security guard, although he is a new one. hahas, stayed around, wanted to see the vsco people play the games, but in the end, decided to head for the soccer court. YEah, today not bad, only us. But later got some freaky fellow came. tried to act like some nice guy, but in acual fact had some motive up in his sleeve. Haiz, just spoilt our day and espeicially Nickolas. Next time better put some guard there sia, guard our belongings. later went makan, then played some pool. Yeah walked around with terry around TM, then saw siau ling, then joel and wei hong. Aahhs, saw so many familiar faces, then the whole MJ student council was there. LOL. Yeah, talked with him , haiz, sad guy, not coming mj. Stayed on at Tpj for the fact that tp choir is better. i was like, oh man, u choose a college base on cca? well nvm, if he likes it there. i wish him the best=) As frens we can only give support=) Go TERRY! 2006 MJC Orientation Hahas, just woke up from a 12 hours sleep. Hahs, saw msg from abigail.Yeah yeah.. Treasure the friendships and have also been nice working with you=)! haahs, yeah then recieved another one from york yong. Came tell me, thank you=) and then our orinetation was much better than tj. Ahahs, he made laugh witht hat statement=) yo nice knowing u too=) gonna have fun for the next 2 years! What a week it had been had. Very tiring one indeed, until now i also still feel like sleeping. wuahah. 1st day, was admin day.Nothing but talks. So sianz. 2nd day, was abit more fun nia. We had height and weight. Gained 1 more kg. So miserable. Need at least 10kg more. Argh, then intro ourselves. ARealised alot from tjc. gee. Feelt abit sorry for them , and at that point hope they get use to MJ fast. Hahas, then had some telematch, then we brought them for mass dance. OOh, and yeah some of the guys had to go for choir audition, taught some of them how to fail it. HAahs,ok damn bad bah nvm. Yeah after that that is it. And relaise more and mre people started to appeal into MJ. And saw many of my primary school mates. 3rd day. Think is the official day of Orient. Much more fun. All have been separated intot heir diff houses. Played some icebreakers with them. Most of them still very conserved. Dun want to talk. But no doubt tried our best. Taught them some cheers too. Still very dead. HAhs, kz, then we had CSI! YEah, the feedback we got from my og was that they were so impressed with the storyline . Kudos to the student's coucil~! But i must admit my mistake, read the venues wronlgy then caused some cock up. if not already finsihed quite early le. Haiz=( so sorry for those who saw my outburst. In the end vega won csi! good job. But got so many bad rumours hanging around us. I not very know how it happened, but i believed we did nothing wrong. Sometimes i dunno why jealousy can get so strong. In terms of compeition. Haiz. After that went back to CO. Hahas, dragged a few. Haiz, the morale now like very low. Saw michelle. She also look depress. Cos is like, the top few and the bottom few. Must try to bridge the gaps together. Oh well must think real hard of a solution. $th day of oreint. Saw them at Sentosa. ahahs, cheryl even though she was sick, she also tagged along. Not sure she would be coming back not, hope she will still recieve a call. Really hope. Yeah. met them at sentosa. Can hear most ogls already "zao sia", lost their voice le. Had to teach them some other houses cheers. Then set off le. AHahs, our route was ok i should say, not like the previous orientation, where we had to travel from the east of sentosa to the west of sentosa, and could still remembered that time, we raced across 3 beaches.....okies, back to this, yeah, haiz i dunno why they cant like get into a group and then discuss the routes. me xav and cheryl ws so blur before the 3rd station. spent 1 hours searching for it. Haahs, finally we still did it, had to chiong like siao. Then we had our lunch at the 4th station, started to open up already. Hahas, then we kept cheering them on, cos they were like telling them, use back the same old route, just chiong to 5th station le... JIA YOU JIA YOU. hahas they sudd all become so enthus. 5th station was i think , entertained most of them, ahahs. Cos guessing words, and they took more intiative liao. Yeah, chionged all the way back again, then think we got first bah=)! go VEGA 2!! WOW, the telematch was super fun. Hahas, kept cheering them on, and was the first event that vega got last. But nvm, still cheered them on. Mr Hon got wet and dirty sia! WWohoo! Yup. Both he and Mr Yao were happy wih our performance that day. Starting to feel a sense of achievement=) ahahs . Yup, had dinner with the vegans ogls. After that took the train home. Saw joel performed somemore of his "hypnotising" trick. Hahas, which was so fun. Shocked alot of people. AHhas. 5th day. Wet and wild. My game had abit of problem. Me and bryna tried to modify the game again and again. hahas, hope they had fun. The whole school everywhere got puddles of water. Hahas, couldnt realy explain the games well, my throat was so sore. practically so hoarse. LOL. Satyd back in school the whole day to prepare for campfire. Dealt with the IT. felt encouraged by the vega people, most of them are willing to try and learn the dance. Yeah, son afer, campfire started liao. ODAC this time manage to slidethe "fireballs " down . HAhas. then me missed most of the orientation, cos was at the side dealing with the com. Low batt. Wee...soon after vega turn to perform. Think we hyped the crowd like crazy! ahahs. eventually Sargus won. Kudos to them. Cos they put in alot of effort for the costumes. So yeah. They won wit tat=) Overall Vega got 2nd=) But still champions in the heart! Hahas. Kz. Feel so tired liaos. Think go rest. Will come back again. O2 1st day Well, yeah. So lucky to meet xavier today. Tahnks for the ride bro=) AHahs, reached school in like 8 mins. Saw few people there le, all took taxi, then was like. Not sure lah. SC not going to do anything, and instead they announced that they wil be points deduction. Abit unbfair i think, For those who lives int he north or futher west, they will not be able to reach on time, so cant they be more reasonable abit? well sometimes dun understand them. Hahas, yeah so like that. Hmm, Dance for campfire abit, dun want to dampen spirits, biut is abit hard. Just hope the vega people will cooperate. Hahs yeah. Must jia you wor... yeah. Got scolding from the MR Yao, bio teacher. The more i see him, the more i feel that he look slike the SDP leader, Chee Soon Juan. Tom going to dance, then learn anthem all that. Remb during o1, was like, haiz i only want to sing vs anthem. But now, is only meridian liao. Hahas, not bad la nice song=). Then, choir audition. Hmm. Yup. time now is 4am, woke up an hour ago which is 3am. I m no excited or what, but just dont know why woke up. Think is the mosquito bites bah... STomach groling l. Maybe time to make own breakfast. Hmm. Today going to start staying in school quite late. NEw batch of people coming in. Haiz, heard that Miguel, Cheryl and Malcolm, these are the people i know who cant stay at MJ. Feel bit sad, but just hope all their appeals will go through and then can come join us for the next 2 years, praying for them... Oh well, few more hours will begin the most oring day of the whole orientation... which is listening to talks and talks and more talks. hahas, but hope today can get to now more vega ogls. Till now, pon too many times. Still dun really knowmuch about them..lol..ahahs we will see how it goes... SOme of my frens have to be sent back to mj , unable to enter vj. Victorian Life Now these memories seemed so vague. But let me dig it out Stepped into the school compound for the first time during 2001, think decemeber. have to settle alot of adminsitrative stuff. Was still some small boy at that time. 140cm nia. ahahs. SO CUTE! ok anyway, dad was like calling me take hcl, cos next time can minus 2 points and then dont need to take chins in jc. I was like, ok anything. I was ok with it since i got A* for Chinese in PSLE. Ahem, yeah then remembered, got one prefect asked me whether u want to take the art elective programme. I said i dont want. Cos i Knew i was not artistic or talented in art. He asked me for my pri sch cca. Told him was chinese calligraphy. Then oh my, he persuaded me even more, until the point I cant stand it. I walked away, then my dad was like saying dont want to him befoe telling me, next time must say politely before walking away. LOL. Hahas, luckily never take, cos it was a very wise decision. Then we had the principal talk. Until today i only rembered something he said, "Eh, for ur info parents, Victoria boys are very mischeivious..." wah, then the whole hall got commotion liao..ahahs after that then was beginning school le. First day stepped into the school as an innocent cute little boy, see all boys wearing diff sch uni. So bit out of placed. Cant really remb what we had for orientation. The best memory i had was the Jalan Bahtera camp. Well, that camp, made me know how regimental VS is. We walk over 10km. to the north part where we can see JB from Singapore. Hahahs, then slept in tents, happen that my tent inside got some horny frens, used torchelight to make obscene stuff 0.o . Funny la. Boys schools, what to expect. Had to cook our own food using those square shaped candles.Well, I didnt know, then burnt all at one time, and my rice was not cooked, had to eat porridge after that. Hahas. So fun... BAck to school, first thing i heard is the word "fuck", I was so shock. Cos my impression of VS was like, wah top school, so all the people there should be guai guai de. Didnt use that word until sec 2. When it became so common, furthermore, what we learnt not only comprises of english obscenities, got hokkien, canotnese, malay, tamil..so cool. Hahas. YEah, remembered form teacher, Ms Monica Chan. Very good teacher. My maths under her everytime get a1 de. Haahs, well, she is now in USA married to afro african? i think so. Yeah, can remb during sec 2 still went to her house, and treated us pizza somemore=) yeah. Got posted to NPCC for about one day, before i transferred to CO. AHahs, well it also turn out to be a good choice. HAahs, sec one results not bad. top few in calss de. But still can remb first exam for hcl , i failed it. first time in my life to fail something. Well, yeah think sec1 still very peaceful. Start doing experiment, some are quite fun. AHahs, and then , I finally got to play on the field with the majestic grandstand. The one i pass by but never thought of having a chance to be seating or playing right in front of it=) Oh yeah, and we got to experience what VS spirit is, we went for the cross country nationals and the track and field, kept cheering non stop. Then Think i can remb is the exchange prog we had with Katong Convent CO and CHua CHu Kang Sec Co. Haahs, remb wwe 3 sec 1 cello de, freaking stun. Cos first time performing, and yeah. Got bit pressure sia. No doubt, we screwed it up nbig time, not the co, but the 3 of us. ahahs. Yeah. ooh still cannot foget the co camp, got night walk, have to admit, i was hum ji, as in who not hum ji la, and then i think i was the last to walk... and one side thing, for 3 consecutive years, i was the last to do nightwalk. HAHS....Think that is for the year. Sec 2, same clas remains, of course, the class spread into cliques. We had to spend half the year in The old VS builidng, and then 2nd half of the year going to shift to the new campus at marine Parade. YEah, Sec 2 quite eventful, hmm, got alot of fights in class, oh man cannot foget, bit terrorising though, yah, got news that form teacher leaving for the staes, so yeah when the new teacher took over, my maths from 90+ dropped to 49. Holy crap. teacher was Felicia Yeo. Argh..but end of year managed go back to A2. YEah, then got alot of CO pract, cos we were having SYF. Then the previous SYF, we screwed up and got COP. We were all super worried, but luckily the dragon year batch got alot of people, so we juniors form smalll percentage. Yeah. So happen bird flu came, and then compeition postpone to JUly. Oh, so we got more time to pract. Alot of things came to light after SYF. Like, Mr Goh learnt from his mistakes, he was confident of getting gold, but only told us to not to panic all that. COs the 2001 SYF, he told the co that confirm the gold is theirs, but thing did not turn out as expected, so this time we didnt repeat the same mistake. Well, we played to our maximum potential. And we got the GOLD. Shut many mouths in VS. YEah 0.o ... Can remb , was sitting for D and T CA, was reading my notes, when some of my class mates were kciking a fevernova in class, then some guy kciked into the fan, one of the blade went dented, but the ball so happen to flew right into my face, smacked me off my chair. 0.o crap, was super sudden. Then everyone cared boutt he ball, while i was left alone to go to the toilet to wash my face. Aiyo. HAahs, had headache, but in the end still got A1. wohooo... hmmm... yeah, as again, got to go for the track and field and cross country, did well. And got half day something like that. Once again, VS spirit proved the might of us again. Sec3. Decided to take the double humans. Hmm, one way or another did not follow the rest, who went on to take triple science. And it turn out to be a very wise decision indeed. woot. Saw my new class. Did really talk to them much at the start, cos i was seating at the front of the classroom. wanted to do well for o levels. then sat at the front. ahahs. was so quiet . Bit blur lor, so mid year dunno get what shitty results, and then for end of year also get results so shitty. 19 points? my god. Yeah, in co got promoted to the post of secretary. LOL. But my year got no assist secretary. Workload have to admit was very heavy on me. Haiz. But still perserved. ooh, and we started to wear long pants, feel so senior. ahahs. YEah, then things we also learnt more ind depth. Got alot of teachers that accompanied us through 2 years later then intro. Guess this year, I became too involved in CO stuff. YEah, studies bit neglected. Oh well. But nvm, the effort was worth it, when we got the gold the following year. I think this is the year whereby during the national trrack and field and cross country, it rained. Well, and we did exceptionally well i think. And then can still remembered when it rained, VS was the only crazy school that kept cheeering, though we were drenched toour underwear, that was really when we experienced the VS spirit in full force. Hahas. Yeah. OOh, one thing which we could not forget is the Kluang Camp.the orientation was to bond us with our new classmates. We conquered the moutain, eh 1000m hil or moutain? I forgot liao, think is gunung lumbak...forogt the spelling. YEah, rolled ourselves in mud, get oursleves covered in rashes. See the water level keep rising every day. See the singaporeans get thrashed in the sports we play against the malaysian school. Hahas, we pee and bathe in the mosquito onfested cubicle. We bathed with people outside, keep shouting at you to hurry up if not the knock down the door. Some even sacrificed hygiene, and bathed with "Prickly HEat", some controlled their bowels for 4 freaking days... HAhs, played soccer in water, and have to withstand leaves and branches getting stuck in your shorts... What a cool camp. UNforgettable... Hmm... year end had some exchange with RGSCO. Again, quiet as usual... ahahs..normal la..then played some songs they played some songs. Have some nice game, but didnt really keep in contact anymore... So yeah, think the year just ended basically like that. Sec4. Pressure liao. YEah. changed seat, and then found new buddy, Xin An. Relaised that he was a fren of my pri sch fren,. ahahs, so started to open up and crap alot with them. Yeah, then really get to know more of the 4H people=) Hmm, yeah was super busy at the start of the year. Had to cheoragraph the movements, then heard so many good comments about our co's cheoragraphy=) so pleased. Yeah we got back gold. Rest of the CCAs did exceptionally well. Then cals started to have this floorball mania. We integrated both floorball rules and soccer rules together. SO fun, everyday stayed back and play. Ahahs. Started the MP3 mania, IRiver became hot favourite, yeah then got olmpyus and then ipods too.. ahahs... bridge mania started, even placed guards outsides our classrooms. Not to mention, the crazy antics but joel chan...always there to brighten up our day=) Kz, la, then soon after we got both 1st for the x country, after 16 years or 6 years? cant remb. Hmm, then prelims came, as usual. Moderation. ahahs. from 21--> 14. One of the luckiest freaks ever. Then O levels came. 11. Oh well. Yeah. No choice, but have to say bye bye to VJC. Hmm, til now, sudd got brain block, cant think much . SO will continue to edit as my memories come back..... MOE Going to have a blogging spree tonight..try to type out as many essays as i can..ahahs. Anyway, the connection scrwed up and there goes my half written long essay on MOE. Now i doing it over again. OK, bring ourseleves back into the secondary school days. IN sec 3 i think, MOE annouced to all that from our batch on wards they will decide to scrape away the PAE thingy. Which means the preliminay results will not be counted. Overjoyed our batch was, schs were glad too, cos they will be able to spread the syllabus over a longer period of time, which means pupils will be able to undertsand well and then do better for o levels. Furthermore those who go for compeitions also can focus more on their training. Thanks alot to MOE, during sec 4, they dropped a bombshell during the start of the year, PAE system will be back up. Thanks la, then teachers all started to revise the time table, so have to rush the syllabus. Haiz. Whose fault? and then PAE system will only be scrapped in the year 2009.Long way to go. IN Sec 2 , MOE declared they will ive the go ahead to schools who want to offer the through train programme or the IB diploma. Well. We see RI and RGS pairing up with RJC, CHS and NYGHS paring up with HCJC, we see ACS(I) starting the IB. Soon NJC, started its four year prog, whereby sec2 pupils can leave their sec sch and then go study for the through train course from sec 3 to jc2. Soon VJC and TJC started theirs. Well, for VS, they saw a brain drain appearing, smart people all leaving VS. So now they proposed to VJC to have a through train to. And thensoon all the problems surfaced..nvm later then talked bout it. MOE, think a couple of months before the O Levels. MOE aagain announced they doing this DSA thing. Whereby using the non-academic talent, the pupil can gain a place in the school of their choice before taking any major examinations, guaranteeing their place in the school. Well. to me i dont think system is good.If i a student who does not do well academically, to put him or her into a school, in this case, i wil say those top schools, well known tobe good in various sports or perfroming arts, they may struggle in thier studies. I wil take an example, like for a boy with psle220. He may enter vs, maybe he very pro in running or soccer. He will have to cope with CCA pressure, be pressured to maintain his standard and on the other hand, he will have to balance with his academic, in which, to a certain level, he is already lagging behind his peers. and this willl do no good to him. ok, take into account this may happen to girls too. Erm, yeah this is my thinking. Then before the release the O level results, MOE sent out invitations of some teaching seminar. Pupils asked around , realised that alot of people from the top JCs did nto recieved it, people started to panic. Well. Until now, I think the rumour is partly true. COs friends i know that got the invitation all get double digit. Hmm. So. what is what? Well, the last thing i can think of is when we got back our postings. Hmm, there was a system leak and then the info of the posting got leaked out. Well about 4 hours, the server was opened. This made alot of people panicked, those who went to check the results. Well, also until now, it seems that the results on wednesday was indeed valid. why is this so? Why are there so many blunders? So many unexpected things that have to turn out this way... Well. Lie is full of unexpected things. We just have to accept it and move on. Sad to see some of my friends leaving. Well, this also struck me, with this PAE thingy, the bonds we forged during the 1st 2 months, will be just over within 3 days when we enter JAE. Well, not say as we will not remain contact, as in we may not see each other more often, slowly our distance will start to drift. Yeah. try our best we can to maintain our freindships we had over the past 2 months. ll the best to those still appealing. Just hope MOEs dont have anymore screw ups or give false alarms.

Victorian Day Yeah Woke up at 7am. Hmm, Slacked aorund the house, makan. and read the papers. Newpaper talked about some schools that don't allow coloured bras. I was abit shocked la. Cos did not knew there was such a rule that exists. I seriously think it is quite ridiculous. Imagaine if guys wear white pe shorts, then cant wear coloured underwear, lame shit. But of cos, no school, the pe shorts is white. Oh well. That rule is just lame. I will go in the favour of the students and parents. Hmm, yeah then came online. Trying to find a song, The Lion Sleeps Tonight. Very catchy song, think heard that on some advertisement a few years ago, then was like some day this week it struck me. Some excavation of my memory. Ohh well. Trying hard to find. Who have, just send me thanks. Hmm, after getting bored with the com, I just went out of the house. Anyway, i dun think alot of people knew that today is Victorian Day. I dont even know, until i checked the VS website. Ok, after being an alumni then i wil remember, the 1st Saturday of every March is Victorian Day. Oh well. Hahas. Go ex-school early only see all the soccer teams get ready for the soccer mania. Expected. William's team out in the first round. Lost by a goal only though. Hahs. Not bad le. Wanted to watch big momma house 2. but timing not suitable, so i just went home. So now on com. Sianz. Saturday Went out with the MJCO peeps. Congrats la. From around 10 people, it was reduced to 6. Haiz. NVM. Went suntec, ate at swensens. Did not complete eating the ice cream which came with in the lunch meal, kept sprinkling salt. Looks so cool. Like pimples on the ice cream. LOL. YEah, after that walked to see got what movie we can catch. But to bad, we were bit late. So cant, went to the arcade to play . Wy tried to catch one bear bear. But cant, ahahs, was like total impossible, as in the pincers is super weak. close to impossible. YEah proceeded around the arcade, then we saw one drum machine. not really drum. Looks bit easy , so we decided to try, haahs, abit sucky at first, after that must train our ears to caputre the song then can get the beat. Jr emerged victorious, cos he one shot go through 5 rounds. Achieveing all Cs though. Hahas. But of cos, we played the easiest de. lol. Yeah, then me and wy, saw the basketball machine. Then it linked us back to a tv sow we watched, sunday 9pm on channel 8 de, got one taiwanese guy, he can shoot 300 over points. So we were like , want to try?? eyah, why not, so we played. Not bad la , we can get the rhythm, then max we got was 158. Wee... next time still going to play, cos we like addicted to it le. ahahs. YEah, So at night went to go watch Cheng San Concert. Hmm, long time no step inside SCH le. YEah. Hahas, so sat with siu hon. Must thank him alot for helping so much and being concern for me=). Thanks bro. Hahs, then yeah, listened some songs while closing my eyes. Hahas, tried to test whether the songs can from pictures in my head. Some did some didnt. Oh well. YEah. What a long day, reached home at 8.450. So cool ate dnner from 9 pm to 9.45pm. Now online to dunno what time. HAhs, last day of PAE le. Tommorrow having break, cos MJ did well. Improved in every subject, eh except for one i think. HAhahs. So Yeah. NOT bad. And the latest thing heard is that MJ cut-off is partial 11. is lIke so WOOT la. COs from 4 years ago, they from 20-->17-->13-->11? So cool. Yeah come on feel the flames of our dreams..wohoo... ahahs anyway is not confrimed. lets wait until tom then we know the actual stuff. Was reading newpaper today. Got that triad leader. Who killed that pub boss. Psycho. Whistle and smile and act yayabanana. Then wgot so many pages on world cup soccer. Ronaldo scored with his chest... I was like..ooh lala. Then crouch also scored. he is spotted with diff hairstyle. Hmm, but the most interesting is one guy who sat for the A Levels last year actually slept during his GP paper last year. I was freaking stun. But after reading thru again, realise he only slept for 5 mins. And he also have some sleeping disorder, in which he will suddenly , anywhere anytime will fall asleep as his brain cant sort or his sleep-wake cycles. First time heard of this. But not bad la, he passed everything. Congrats to him=) Hmm, OGLs got meeting today. Of course got to prepare for next week. My toe recovered le so went to scoocer today=) Ahahs. let see, woke up at 7am, was reaching for my phone, getting ready for jun yu to call me. true enuff, he called me. yes answered with a very sleepy voice, ahahs that sprang up to wash up and everything. Was reading papers wnet my dad appeared from his bedroom. "You see, boy, told u if u sleep early, you will wake up early. See u last night slept at 11pm, today wake up so early. Like that good for health, like me, I slept early, even got no work in the morning, i also wake up early." he said with a smile, and i also replied him with a smile. Ahahs Then converstaion at breakfast... ME:Eh, dad , mum, i going to play soccer with frens later at 9am, Simei. The usual place." recieved some news from Jun Yu that dear 4H, bout 10 of us are dwon with sicknes. My god. there are still some other meridians also sick. Dunno what happen, gee, some fierce virus going around seh. take care bros=) Shuld be heading for Sentosa today, but did not go, cos of my sickness, dont want a relapse, thus headed for school. J1s almost like 1 quarter gone. Including the Pon- sters and the Ogls. That is alot. ahahs. Yeah, lesson as usual. Most interesting lesson was of course PCCG. Ahem, relaised that guy's expectations is not as high as that of Girls. Hahass, no wish to elaborate, But can see that guys are more gracious. Mass Breakdown

Yeah. As usual, being a crazy guy, i still woke up at 545 am. 0.o . Actually wanted to go to school. But afraid that the medicine will make me sleepy, so useless lah, go school will = no school. Thus, stayed at home, read the papers, then went back to lie on bed. Watched the Winter Olympics highlights on channel 5. Some of the sports is like very weird la. Got some curling game. Wah, that one is super boring la. Ice Hockey, Luge , Speed Skating, Free-style skiing more exciting. HAhas. Ice hockey quite violent de la, can just smash your oppenent into the wall. Lol. that isnt a foul seh. Cool. Then the luge is like bob-sled type. The person just lie dwon, then u just speed ur way dwon the track. It can reach speed up to 125 km/h. So cool. G force is like siao lor. If u lose control of the sled. That is it man. U will just see urself flying of the track. Speed skating is like 100m track, except now is on ice. Only the starting part of the race is nice, because u will get to see the competitors jostle to gain pole position in the first bend. And always there is a high chance of them skiing out of the bend due to high speed. nice.... And then got the free-style skiing. So shiok. See them perform stuns. So eye catching! I like... ahahs.. Had to give up on econs lecture, make my own way back to the clinic near my house. Doctor tested 38.7. So high. tell me look out. Okies, yeah then the walk home was so pissing me off. Head was like some huge bell, like got vibrations inside de. Finally reached home, quickly lied on the bed and then rest first. After that took some buns, med and then slept until dinner. LOL. Morning still had PE. Thinking that my body is fine, I went for it. Ran 3 rounds non-stop. Good improvement. last time used to slack de. Then got SBJ and chin up exercise. SBJ, must train. Recess came, bought a bottle of Herbal tea to drink. To no effect, whole body start to feel super tire. Eys feel pain, In Gp lesson very restless. Haiz, then hardcore la, sat through Chem lecture, Cant take it le, Checked temp, 38.3. Ten wanted to tahan longer for econs, but cant la, scared my brain overheat then in deep shit le. Yup, Just cameback from the farewell. Had chemistry practical. This is the first time after 2 practicals, that i start to do the workings on my own. LOL. Did asked wei de for some help, before finishing of the work. went home with Hanafie, then was raining heavily. Talked alot, nice guy, ahahs too bad did not get to know him earlier. very self-moitvated guy=) REached home bathed then come out of house again. Went parkway,Met up with bros. Aiyo, after school chiong out help them buy drinks, but also no use. So heartless de the committee of MJCO. GRR... anyway, yeah got the oreintation today. Bit fast short, and uninteresting . Okies. Just got news, they want to play soccer again tom. Argh! Not sure whether can make it. but will try. TOday was as usual. No what crap was that erm. No la. Today was different. hahas, just played tennis with miguel, xavier, cherly , joy , faizal. yeah so malu. Dunno how to hol the racket properly. Wack here wack there. Also cant get it. hahas. But can la. Fun to play=) aiyo such simple life!. Later coach jose taught us. Not the portuguse, is the filippino, hahas think only my class understands this... Then come taught us forehand backhand. But so blur, can understand and apply abit nia. Aiyo, today econs is like scary lor. I miss the PE of VS . hAiz. JC Pe is really diff. Well, suppose they have to make it different to prepare the guys for NS. Hahas I accept it. Oh well th PE is like remind us not to be late, if come after 10 minutes. That is it. Come to sch at 6.45am i think on 2 days and jog with the round contour people. So strict. Hahas. Did 1 lap of jogging on the track. Then they tested us on our pull up and standing broad jump. Guess they knew that is our weakest area. Passed the pull up but failed the sbj. Sad sia. Hahas. Oh my Vasin that ACSI canoeing strong man did those pull up like so easilly and freely. Ok to the vs people. Is like as good as james TIng. Yeah. Wuahah. Today had all the subjects. Have to do physics. Crap. i totally dun understand physics seh. Maths shuld be ok. Chem bit stunned. Cos the lecturer realy speaks like machine gun. Only strain my ears lor. And she happens to be my tutor. OOps. Econs was the best. the pregnant teacher. injected most fun into the class lor. Hahas lively. But she dropped a bombshell. Must complete econs tutorial.... GP was ok. Mr Audi. Nust start do some explanation on "self"??!! OKies. Slowly go do later. So enthu. Tom gonna learn tennis from the pros. Wuahah. Haiz. Tested that person twice le. Reading the calendar of events. MJ has the news that O levels release will be on the 6-10 of FEB. we only have 2 days to make our choice for the JC and the release of the posting results will only be on the 27 FEB-2 March. SO most likely we have to sit trhu the frist 2 months. Gee the release of results is like only 3 more weeks? Fast fast. ANyway, was like sitting there figuring out the maths. It did not seem that diff after all. I was stoning there cos i forgot to simplify the answer-___-". Results of not touching any academic stuff for one month. Haiz. Sad case. OFf to grandma house.

yeah lots of homework. think tomorrow then i start. Had only maths and chem lecture today. At least understood something today. Woot. To stay awake is the challenge of the human psyche.=) Anyway. have to do lots of tutorials sia. But at least good la. Time to wake up and activate the brain lor. seen my civics group. made up of vega 6,7 a few from 8 and 5. ahahs. Then saw one face. Like i seem to know, but i don;t too. Then realise is yichen. Today got econs. 1 subject only. Rest of the time sleep in library.SO academics aspect nothing to talk much. Let see. wanted to see floorball got what to offer. Thne only know nest week got trials. Anyway i thinking of joiining it as recre. So anyway. Met wenyuan , then we went up to the CO room. Sia la, i think the Han Bing, that erhu gal. Fierce sia. First thing she sees us, not say Hello. But is say. VS right? cello right? kz come follow me, got ake ur cello. I was like there stun. I tot today orientation. Not practice. Haahs lol. Yeah then started tot ok to them in a way i think i use to talk to guang hui. Like how to say, piss them abit, ahahs but in the end still guai guai listen to them. Walked in and waved to mr quek. Then started. OKies. Tired and tested. TO pla a musical instru well, u have to constantly practice it. Ooh lala. We didnt. And then all got stunned. Aahs. Noticed the student conductor. Prev from ngee ann. Super pro. They say he talented got no teachers de. Woot. YEah then they want us to perfrom for chins celebrations. Tat is fast sia. BUt just play lor. MOE now only wait until 2009 then gonna have that one time admission to jc. LOl. Some 4 years later. Thought was gonna ahppen to my batch first. Pissing people off nia. Sianz. Oh yar, wheni was having the 2 and the half hour of slack time, we were chatting among ourselves in our og group. yeah then happen another group walked past us. then got a victorian, he shook hands and did the malay style of greeting one another. So after shaking, he like brought it and patted his own chest. Then i think nadhirah saw it, she was so shocked. Then asked me, "is that guy malay??!!" me and zahir replied with instant. NO. Then she was like. 0.o... BUT Y HE DID TAT MALAY STYLE HANDSHAKE?? AHahs, then we we were lauging at her shockness, slowly explained to her, it was normal to see this among Victorians. To imagine i leaving like can say geographically, almost just one major place beside pasir ris. I have to leave house at 6 am, take 17, then change to 81 or 3 or 39. Whole thing takes 55 mins. I reach sch by 6.55 am. I got no choice but to take the early bus since there will be jam and there is super many stidents living in the tamp and pasir ris area. Haiz. headache. Can take mrt, but also must go up and down . Gee.... Dunno la Hahas. XF is the first person i asked that she says i do not resemble the RI guy, not that much. Watched the superstar yest. Not bad. 1st day at school. And i have to sit through all 4 subjects of lectures. So hardcore sia. And for physics i think i got all the notes for the first 3 months liao. Super fast lor. Not bad la. Whole day is like go canteen and LTs. So cool. Have lessons on LT. Woot! Amazing thing then i did not fell asleep. Woot. Not a bad start. HAhas, cos if back when i was sec 4 in VS. Everytime lesson stating will start to fall asleep, Xin An will then poke and jolt me out of my dreams. AHahs. Aiyo the past again... Haahs, kz look like have to buy some files. Gee. 1st 3 months nia ,must buy file le. Oh all i think that indian female teacher is so fierce. LOl! Screaming and screaming. And then she talk abit fast with that ah nei accent. gee. I want Mrs LKS back. Econs teacher sounds like Ms tang, husky mal voice. looks like some "nu qiang ren". All in all, at the end of the day, econs look smost complicating. Must memorise definitions. Blah blah... Went walk around eating old chang kee with vega 6 at white sands. yeah. Then xavier showed me a super super short way from tanah merah to my house. Song boh. Yeah. what a night. Had such a nice sleep. My bed now swapped position. Whole outlook of the room changed. Hope like that can conc better in studies. 1 tv from my room will be taken out. Sad. Hahas.
